So I’ll walk this path through the ocean alone…

Why get this close to drop me like a shard in the sea
broken glass in the water appears as nothing
A proper adjective for me
For I’ve never given up but you are past giving in
So either indulge my passion or let me fall into the ocean

So I ask you to end me
for I’m replaced
in your life and your heart, for me there is no longer space.
I wish you could know what I won’t let go
So through the water I walk, even the sea lets me drown.

I wish you would reach out and see that I won’t let go
If you could see me at all.
