irony, please tell me
who is the victim in your rhetorical technique
historically speaking ,we’ve gone through the motions
of lessons I should have learned long ago
they simply present themselves in different forms
and here I am, sarcastically implying
I know who I am, and that I am better now
The tragedy is, that this is just a twist of fate.
I’m plagued by lesser days.
and here I am, sarcastically implying
A metamorphosis, but we’re just postmortem
All that we’ve gained, is the ability to fool ourselves
We’re plagued by lesser days.
